nissan altima temperature gauge problem

Hi all I need, some help whith a friends car , its a 2005 Altima 2.5 S and the temp gauge is always all the way up , or showing overheating , I have already changed both thermostats, the sending unit and one of 3 relays for the engine fan, but still showing to hot , aside for the gauge its self is there anything else that you guys would check or maybe know of , thanks in advance, Hjalmar.
